Fresh herbs are increasingly taking over from the dried variety and when grown locally and used fresh from the ground they transform the food they are served with.
All our herbs are grown from seed using only the best quality organic source and selected for maximum flavour. In addition to the more common varieties we try to include others which are not usually available in supermarkets.

As well as providing great taste herbs and plants are used for a wide range of treatments and ailments. We are growing echinacea “purpurea” used to treat many problems but most well known for respiratory complaints. Orach known as mountain spinach is reputed to prevent swelling of the glands when applied to the throat. Dill has been used for centuries as a soothing agent. Sorrel aids digestion and is beneficial to the kidneys.
