Our orchard was established in 2005 with a mix of around 60 organic fruit trees and bushes. All fruit is being removed this season to encourage more vigorous growth for future years. The first crops for sale are expected to be ready during late summer 2007. With blossom appearing on every tree already the wonderful mixture of scents are a taste of what is to come and providing a haven for wildlife.
The Fruit Trees Include:
Apples (Adams Pearmain, Ashmeads Kernal, Annie Elizabeth, D’Arcy Spice, Howgate Wonder, Lord Hindlip, Pixie, Topaz, Winston, Red Falstaff and Malus Golden Hornet).
Cherry (Summer Sun and Sunburst).
Plum (Blue Tit, Merryweather, Sanctus Hubertus, Victoria and Oulins Gage).
Pears (Worcester Black and Josephine de Mailines).
